| SCCU celebrates Raising Day | | |  Early times Report
Udhampur, Aug 21: ‘Senior Citizens Club Udhampur’ celebrated its raising day that coincides with ‘World Senior Citizens Day’. Deputy Commissioner Udhampur as a chief guest graced the occasion. Others present on the occasion were SE (R&B) Udhampur-Reasi, District Information Officer/District Social Welfare Officer and Dy. SP Hqrs apart from members of the Club unit Udhampur and Ramnagar.
On the occasion Maiden Magazine of the Club ’AAshayen’ was released by Worthy Deputy Commission as a compendium of annual activities of the Club followed by symbolic distribution of ID Card to Dr. Rajinder Kumar Nagar members of Cub. As a responsibility towards ‘Specially-abled persons’ a wheel Chair was provided by the club and handed over to one Zafar Ali r/o Chigli Balota Ramnagar by worthy DC Udhampur. As a mark of respect President of the Club Mahadeep Singh Jamwal was presented a memento by Chief Guest on behalf of the Club. Mr Sanjay from sports was also facilitated by the Club. |
