| Doda DDC reviews progress, status of PMGSY projects | | | Early Times Report
DODA, Aug 24: District Development Commissioner Doda, Dr Sagar D Doifode today took a comprehensive review of the progress achieved under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY), here at a meeting.
The concerned Executive Engineers and AEEs apprised the DDC progress of work on different roads in their respective sub divisions and the total length achieved so far and future work plan.
The DDC also sought a detailed report of schemes yet to be completed and directed for their completion in a time-bound manner.
He set fresh deadlines for completion of works and asked for submission of the progress report on a regular basis. He asked them to take all requisite measures to remove the bottlenecks to meet the deadlines.
The DDC also directed the executing agencies to expedite the progress of blacktopping on all the ongoing projects and ensure the quality of work.
Observing the non serious approach of some contractors in completing the projects, the DDC passed the directions for issuing notices under the rules against all the erring contractors today itself.
The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer, Executive Engineers PMGSY division Doda and Thathri, along with AEEs of the respective sub divisions. |
