| JKWA congratulates Kuldeep Handoo | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 24: Jammu & Kashmir Wushu Association congratulated Kuldeep Handoo for being nominated for the prestigious Dronacharya Award Jammu.
Handoo, who is Chief Wushu coach of team India for his nomination for the prestigious Dronacharya Award on Saturday, Yogesh Sahwney, Patron of the Association in his message congratulated Handoo for his Nomination for this Prestigious Games Award and bringing a Laurel to Jammu and Kashmir and Wushu Association.
He further said that it’s a Proud Moment as this Prestigious Award is the highest honour that can be bestowed on a coach in our Country. Vijay Saraf, President of the J&K Wushu Association and Vice – President of the Wushu Association of India also congratulated Handoo and also mentioned that it’s a moment of Pride for all the Wushu Associates and J&K UT People as Handoo is the first Coach from Jammu and Kashmir who has been Nominated for this Prestigious Honour. The President of the Association further said that Handoo has contributed a lot towards this Game and has dedicated all his time for bringing the fame to our Country.
It was under Handoo’s able coaching only that the Wushu Games achieved 3 Gold Medals, 28 Silver medals & 57 Bronze Medals for our Country apart from India being the Overall Champion for 4 Times in the South Asian Games.
