Youth Cong, activists castigate BJP for ‘hypocritical approach’ towards J&K | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KISHTWAR, Aug 24: District Kishtwar unit of Pradesh Youth Congress has castigated the Union Government led by the BJP over its step motherly treatment to Jammu and Kashmir. Spokesperson Youth Congress, Kishtwar Dr Jahanzaib Sirwal made a sharp criticism on the unilateral decisions taken by the BJP government on August 5, 2019. Dr Jahanzaib referred to a recent statement of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan in which he had said that jobs in Madhya Pardesh will only be reserved for the people of the state. He termed the statement as an eye opener for those who really think that Article 370 and its abrogation had anything to do with the development of Jammu and Kashmir. He said that it was a tactful and well thought out plan of collectively punishing the people of Jammu and Kashmir by confusing them under false narratives. “On one hand they’re (BJP) reserving jobs for the indigenous people of states ruled by them while taking away the same privilege away from the people of Jammu and Kashmir, where is the development and equity in such a step? “ questioned Dr Jahanzaib. He reminded the common citizens of Jammu and Kashmir that the fears of unemployment and receding economical activities by experts in Jammu and Kashmir have been proved right and if people continue to turn a blind eye towards this grave situation they will end up with a broken economy and a record number of jobless people in coming time. Dr Jahanzaib reiterated that his party will continue to raise the demands of job security of the people of Jammu and Kashmir while warning the government to stop the step motherly treatment of the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir. |
