| Domicile Certificates distributed at Narwal Pain | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 24: Following the instructions given by Worthy Deputy commissioner Jammu To provide the hassle free issuance of Domicile certificates at the door steps a camp was organised at Narwal pain Satwari by Tehsildar Jammu south S .Harjeet Singh in collaboration with social activist Preety Chowdhary where more than 500 domicile certificates were issued to people on spot.
According to J&K Grant Domicile Certificate (Production) Rules, all those who have been living in Jammu and Kashmir for more than 15 years can apply for the certificate.
Public showed happiness on the initiative of the district administration and Tehsildar Jammu South S. Harjeet Singh .
People of the area said that it would have taken a lot of time to get this certificate at office but revenue officials have came at our door step to hand it over without any problem. So far 14000 domicile certificates have been issued in Tehsil Jammu South . |
