50th Shat Chandi Mahayagya held at Baba Sidhgoria temple

Jammu, Aug 30 : The 50th Shat Chandi Mahayagya, Hawan Pujan and Sant Samelan was organised by Shri Shri Baba Kuldeep Ji Paloura Wale at Baba Sidhgoria Temple, Paloura, Jammu today where select devotees took part in Mahayagya due to Covid 19 restrictions.
All the SOPs were followed by the ashram with sanitizers and social distancing being maintained during the hawan.
Addressing the media Baba Kuldeep Ji said that it was great pleasure and a matter of pride that the 50th Mahayagya was organised despite Covid problems adding the SOPs were followed and all guidelines issued by the government were adhered to.
Giving details Baba Kuldeep Ji said that the Mahayagya is normally held for atleast 10 days but this year the Mahayagya was initiated and culminated the same day after which Choki was held and Puran Ahuti was held in which Member Parliament Sh Shamsher Singh Manhas also participated.
The programme normally is spread over a week where Mahayagya, Shoba yatras and other religious rituals are observed but this year the function was curtailed to just one day keeping in view the seriousness of Covid Pandemic in the country. While Kuldeep Raina was the Yagya Acharya the dignitaries besides Shamsher Singh Manhas (MP) who participated in the Mahayagya include Mahant Maha Mandleshwar Rameshwar Das ji of Ram Temple Purani Mandi, Satya Narayan Ji, Kameshwar Nath Ji, and other Sadhus and sants.
The managing committee members and important people also participated in the Mahayagya.
