JAMMU, Aug 30: The election for the post of General Secretary, J&K Electrical Engineering Graduates Association (JKEEGA) was held at various places across Jammu Division, wherein total of 513 votes were polled.
According to Returning Officer, Er Sanjeev Rohmetra, there were three candidates in contest namely Er Doulat Ram Bhagat, Er Harvrinder Singh and Er Sachin Tickoo. The counting of votes was held today wherein Er Sachin Tickoo, obtained maximum i.e. 255 votes and thus was declared as winner by defeating his nearest rival Er Harvinder Singh by 53 votes. Singh polled 202 votes while Bhagat could muster only 56 votes. Tickoo was elected as General Secretary of JKEEGA for the term 2020-22. |
