9/29/2020 11:39:03 PM

EARLY TIMES REPORT

JAMMU, Sept 29: Bahujan Samaj Party (J&K) strongly condemned the behaviour of Tehsildar Latti Roshan Lal Bakshi for harassing and mentally torching a Scheduled Caste Patwari posted at Patwar Halqa Latti for the last two years allegedly on the caste basis.
Briefing media persons here today, Somraj said that Tehsildar Latti, being a magistrate, has humiliated the said Patwari at Dev Sthan Sudh Mahadev and also tried to grab his owned land. The said Tehsildar used his services as a Mazdoor /labour for construction of his house. It is a shameful act for a responsible government servant who is supposed to deliver justice to all sections of the society without any caste creed or colour, he said.
Majotra appealed to the Lieutenant Governor of J&K to initiate a detailed Inquiry against such fanatic officer and shall be terminated from his services who violates and misused their powers. Majotra also criticized the shameful act of some of the BJP workers who were collecting Rs 150 from the poor residents in Bishnah area against the government fees Rs 30 for issuing Ayushman Yojana card at CHC Bishnah as reported by Bharat Bhushan Kundal, District President BSP Jammu, who brought the matter to the notice of Tehsildar Bishnah, who immediately directed SHO Bishnah to nab the BJP workers looting the poor masses. The SHO Bishnah immediately raided the village and arrested the team of BJP workers, he said. Majotra also requested UT administration and District administration Jammu to register FIR against such culprits and orders that no political activist shall be involved for registration of such poverty elevation schemes, only government officials be authorized to do the job. He also warned the public to beware of such pocket mars.
