JAMMU, Sept 29: Demanding NIA inquiry into the oxygen scam and the deficiency of ventilators in GMC, Jammu, Social activist Neeraj Gupta observed a day long hunger strike along with other prominent citizens in front of the GMC gate. Neeraj Gupta said that the government is not paying heed for the supplies of essential services in GMC. There is no facility of medicines, ventilators, CT Scan, Oxygen etc. even number of medical staff including para-medical staff is not sufficient in the GMC. He said that the government is not fulfilling the promises and assurance which it is required to fulfill during this pandemic of Corona. This negligent attitude of the government has added to the miseries of innocent people. He said that if the government will not improve the current situation then the hunger strike will continue for a further period. He was accompanied by Rakesh Gupta, Ashok Khajuria, Nirmal Kishore, Purshotam Lal and others. |
