Take steps to bring investors in J&K: Kavinder urges Centre | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 3: To boost the economy of J&K, former Deputy Chief Minister and senior BJP leader, Kavinder Gupta urged the Central Government to take necessary steps to bring industrial investors in the Union Territory. The former Deputy Chief Minister said that now the Article 370 which barred the development of J&K is gone and initiatives for development is need of the hour amid crumbling economy due to COVID-19 pandemic. He said that big industries and companies are needed to bring in the UT so that the unemployment would decline in J&K and people who have been deprived for over 70 years would get justice. “Bringing industries and multi-national companies in J&K would cater the unemployment rate by hiring the local youth,” Gupta said and added that this would boost the economy of erstwhile state. The former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta has also met a deputation and listened to their issued being related to basic amenities. Kavinder, while listening to these issues patiently, said the problems shall be discussed with the respective departments’ officials for their quick disposal. He asserted that all problems of the people will be solved in a time bound manner as J&K Union Territory is on the path of progress under the leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. Kavinder said that the BJP holds distinction of being only party in the nation always working dedicatedly for raising the living standards of every citizen of the country. The party always works with the principle of ‘nation first, party second and self last’ he added and maintained that the BJP has addressed the core issues of the public. He further stated that the development is the core agenda of BJP and timely whole State will witness the same when each and every work will reach the ground level which was ignored by previous government of the State.
