Jammu, Oct 3: Shiksha Niketan Senior Secondary School (SNSSS) Jeevan Nagar Jammu conducted an “online cleanliness drive” for “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan” for the students of class 2nd.
The main purpose of this programme was to create awareness among the students regarding cleanliness and its benefits.
As a part of the cleanliness drive, the students cleaned every nook and corner of their homes by performing various activities like cleaning of the cupboards, study table, home garden etc. The cleanliness activities were carried out with much zeal and enthusiasm.
The students were enthusiastic and determined not just to clean the area adjoining to their locality, but also pledged to spread the message of “ Cleanliness” among others.
On the occasion, Principal of the School, Rameshwar Mengi, said that the students of today should be encouraged to maintain cleanliness as a way in their future lives too, as “Cleanliness is next to godliness”. |
