| AAP takes out candle march for UP rape victim | | |

Jammu, Oct 3: Aam Aadmi Party Jammu and Kashmir took out candle march in solidarity of UP rape victim under the leadership of O P Khajuria & S Paramveer Singh supported by large number of dedicated party activists. A large number of women activists & local social organizations’ also participated in the march which started from Krishna Nagar to main Bazar Miran Sahib as a solidarity towards gang rape victim. Slogans were raised against BJP Government in center and UP CM. They accused the UP Government for failing to protect women & daughters in UP including brutal dealing of UP Police by criminating the body of the victim during midnight without her parents just to hush-up the case. While addressing the protesters, AAP leaders criticized Modi & Yogi who failed to rein their U.P. police that cremated the body of the victim during midnight without participation of her parents against the traditional customs that restricts any cremation within darkness, release added. Modi’s fake slogans like Beti Bachao – Beti Padao was badly defeated in a state from where he got elected for Lok Sabha, it further added. AAP leaders finally thanked all esteemed protesters for their moral support and gave a call to the masses to unite against the inhuman acts against the women & daughters and brutality of the police that tries to shield the criminals, release added & concluded. |
