AKHNOOR, Oct 4: Shree Rashtriya Rajput Kerni Sena held a massive protest at Jourian, Akhnoor against the statement of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, who in his remarks offered to provide jobs to the militants if they shun violence. Dozens of volunteers of Shree Rashtriya Kerni Sena led by their president Raghuvir Singh gathered at Jourian and shouted slogans demanding retraction of statement by LG in which he offered jobs and other help to militants if they surrender. Addressing the gathering, Raghuvir Singh demanded clarification from LG Sinha on his statement offering to provide government jobs to militants. He said it is very disappointing that youth of Jammu Kashmir was expecting justice after revocation of Articles 350 and 35 A but here situation remains same. He said this statement of LG is insult to nationalist youth of Jammu Kashmir. He said Lieutenant Governor should focus on employment for educated unemployed youth of Jammu Kashmir rather than offering jobs to the terrorists. Thakur Hoshiar Singh, spokesperson addressing the media said that unemployment rate in Jammu and Kashmir is on top while daily wagers, NYC, SPOs, Academic Lecturers and thousands more are on roads for jobs but Lieutenant Governor ignoring all educated unemployed and nationalist youth have offered jobs to militants which is very shameful. He said that injustice with Jammu is continuous under Lieutenant Governor’s rule. Singh said LG should take his words back.
