Speaking on the occasion, president of the Association Amit Kapoor said that an undertaking in the shape of a form is being taken from the parents, which shows that the authorities are not ready to take the responsibility in case anything untoward happens to a child, adding that whole responsibility will be of the parent/guardian. He said that though in urban areas majority of the parents are educated and they are refusing to sign the form while in rural areas most of the parents are not so educated and most of them don’t even know English, using this helplessness of the parents school managements are taking the signatures of the parents on unfilled forms. Innocent parents don’t even know that by signing these forms they cannot make any claim on schools if any untoward incident happens. He appealed to the parents not to fill or sign any kind of form given by the school managements because by signing these forms. All Parents Association demands and appeals LG Manoj Sinha to waive off the admission fees of the colleges and withdraw the order of opening of the schools with immediate effect for the sake of innocent students and parents.
