LG urged to resolve pertinent issues of KPs | | | EarlyTimes Report
JAMMU, Oct 9: Prominent Social activists of KP community have jointly appealed to Lt. Governor UT of J&K,Manoj Sinha to mitigate the burning issues being faced by Kashmiri Pandit migrant community living in exile for last more than thirty years or so While talking to Early Times the social activists,Vinod Pandita and Vishal Jotshi stated that on count of enhancement of monthly cash relief assistance from Rs13000 to Rs 25000 per month per family, provision of providing one job per family on the pattern of Punjab State,political representation to Kashmiri Pandits in new political scenario to remove decades old discrimination like issues should be resolved at an earliest besides provisions of pure drinking water supply in Migrant colonies like Jagti, TRT Nagrota and other camps and prompt and quick issuance of domicile certificate to aspiring people. Both the social leaders appealed to JKUT lieutenant Governor ,Manoj Sinha to take personal interest and resolve these pertinent issues on priority basis as this community has pinned high hopes in his administration. Both the activists extended their support to ongoing protest at Jagti camp by JTC members regarding enhancement of monthly cash relief and providing one job to each migrant KP family. |
