| GDC Khour celebrates World Mental Health Day | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 10: In order to celebrate “World Mental Health Day” Government Degree College Khour organized (GDC) Khour organized a virtual awareness drive on the theme “Mental Health For All”. The day is celebrated to create awareness about mental health conditions and advocate against social stigma surrounding mental health issues. Marking the day, students of Semester 5th made posters and wrote slogans to emphasize on the need to take care of mental health and wellbeing. The activity was organized by NSS Program Officer Prof. Gurvinder Kour under the guidance of Prof. Hans Raj Principal of the College. Speaking on the issue, the college Principal emphasized on the necessity to educate and aware the masses about mental health and encourage them to talk about the topic.
