Jammu, Oct 10: The hunger strike launched by Kashmir Pandits at Jagti township under the banner of Jagti Tenement Committee and Soan Kashmir Front today continued for 8th day. Addressing the members, Shadi Lal Pandita said that from now onwards th protest would be held from 10 AM to 4 PM and every day only 3 members will go on hunger strike and the rest of members would be on strike. Raj Kumar Tickoo, Rakesh Ambardar went on hunger strike on 8th day but they alleged that the government is behaving like stepmother. Pandita said that the government should meet their demands as soon as possible otherwise they would be forced to intensify their protest.
Sunil Koul, Kashi Nath Bhat, Inder ji Labroo, Charanjeet Singh, Gurmeet Singh, PK Sadh, Ravinder koul , M L Razdan beside others were present on the occasion.
