| Rusted shell found in field near border in Jourian | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Oct 15: A rusted shell was found in a field near border village Journai in Akhnoor sector here on city outskirts, police sources said on Thursday. They said that on Wednesday evening one farmer Shamser Singh of Khour, found one rusted 82 mm mortar shell when he was working in his field at village Kullian in Akhnoor sector.
Police said that he informed them following which the police team rushed to the spot and also called a bomb disposal squad.
"The BDS diffused the shell on the spot while no loss of life or property was reported," said police.
