| JKSC conducts plantation drive | | |

Jammu, Oct 16: In collaboration with Hockey J&K Association, Sports Authority of India STC Jammu and J&K Sports Council, Manager KK Hakhu Stadium initiated the plantation drive at KK Hakhu Stadium to protect the nature and environment. Dr. Zafar Iqbal Chief Account officer/ Administrative Officer of J&K Sports Council kicked off this campaign to convey with his positive messages for all to save the life and beauty of nature on earth. Over fifty saplings were planted in the newly renovated and upgraded Hakhu Stadium by Chief Guest dignities and players participated in this event. Speaking on the occasion chief guest Dr. Zafar Iqbal said that I am honour to be here to this noval cause and appreciated the effort of the Manager, staff and his Co partner specially the Hockey J&K and Sports Authority of India to take care of the area, pledged to make the environment beautiful and green. He thanks for hockey J&K President Mr. Rajeev Sharma for making this vanmahautsav successfully and hope to receive continuous support for same event in future. Conveyed his sincere massages to young generation that this sapling plantation drive should be continuous in future as it balances the lives on earth. |
