| Dy Mayor JMC kicks developmental work in Ward No. 1 | | |

JAMMU, Oct 16: Advocate Purnima Sharma, Deputy Mayor kick started the developmental work in Ward No. 01 by laying the foundation stone for the construction of deep drain in Mohalla Choughan Salathia.
It was an old requirement of the locals of Choughan Salathia as the old deep drain was damaged due to which it was blocked again and again causing trouble to the residents of the Mohalla Choughan Salathia. Taking this in account, Efforts were made by the Deputy Mayor and development work worth of 4.59 lakh was approved for the construction of deep drain at Choughan Salathia in ward no. 01. Speaking on the occasion, Adv. Purnima Sharma said that the developmental works were delayed due to the corona virus pandemic and lockdowns but now everything is back on track and the developmental work in different wards have already been started and will soon be completed for the welfare of the General Publc. The locals praised and thanked the Deputy Mayor and JMC for listening to their demands and taking quick action against them. At the end, Adv. Purnima Sharma, Deputy Mayor appealed not to wander out of their houses unnecessarily as COVID-19 cases are still on the rise and only to go out when it's important and while wearing masks and practicing social distancing. |
