KCWT demands transparency in implementation of Govt schemes | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 18: Kotli Colony Welfare Trust (KCWT) Chairman Chandan Datta said ensuring people schemes or different camps to be organized to benefit people is a welcome step. But this shouldn’t be just mere a formality or eyewash. Today received a number of calls of persons to enroll themselves as new voters in respective ward s. During KCWT team visit to Girls Higher Secondary school Rehari Colony we may found it totally an irrelevant mere an eye wash with below reasons. If there are more than one person in a family to register or enroll for vote there is no adequate arrangement of voting forms . Staff deputed there is giving one single form and telling them to get it Xerox from outside. Today is Sunday the shops of Xerox were mostly closed and too far from the place. ) Mostly people were saying this is second or third time we are filling out these registration forms but still we were unregistered by authority ? So where does the form goes ? Is there any hierarchy to check these camps status n report and if yes why don’t each people who went in these camps to register were not provided a receipt for submission of form so that later they may seen their status from the concerned office. Why so much wastage of time and Gvt resources? Also people complained and we personally observed that there is no proper arrangement of Gumstick and even stapple the form . Now people visiting these camps may bring these small items from their home. |
