JAMMU, Oct 18: Sahil Aggarwal has been elected as Chairman of Jammu & Kashmir Baseball Association (JKBA) while Raju Sharma was chosen as President in the elections held here today.
The elections of office bearers of JKBA were held today at Hotel Country Inn opposite Bahu Plaza, Gandhi Nagar Jammu. Aijaz Ahmad Chesti, former Additional Advocate General of UT of J&K acted as Returning Officer while PC Bhardwaj from Amateur Baseball Federation of India monitored the polls as an Observer. All the members of various district units were present during the process of election. The other office bearers of JKBA who got elected included Rohil Rashid as Senior Vice President, Gurjan Shanna as Vice President (J), Gh Hassan Vice President (K), Farooq Ahmad General Secretary, Harvindcr Singh Joint Secretary (J), Sheeraz Ahmad Joint Secretary (K) and Asif Altaf as Treasurer. Showkat Ahmad Bhat, Bisma Farooq, Farhat Abbas, Mohd Rafiq and Sameer Ahmad will be the Executive Members of the Association. |
