| Citizen Forum demands separate Jammu UT | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 18: Former State Treasurer PDP and President Citizen Forum R K Chadha said after going through the details of the meetings of Gupkar Declaration by 6 alliance parties of Kashmir, they feel that this is not for the restoration of Art.370 but something big unknown decision taken by the Kashmir leaders. Restoration of Art.370 is just an excuse.
Chadha said every party has its offices and members and MLA’s and MLC’s in Jammu too. They have not even mentioned a word about future or participation of these party Functionaries in the Gupkar Declaration. That means these Jammu representatives will work as their second fiddle or subordinates in the future of their Plans, whatever big they have conceived. As I along with Late Mufti Sayeed founded the PDP in Jammu with Jammu people, hence , I beg to differ and it is not acceptable to Jammu people.
Chadha further said we have a very large majority of Jammu Muslims , and we are living very peacefully with each other, we are sure nobody will like to be subservient to the Kashmir leaders as they have already seen in the past nothing tangible had been done for them and other Jammu Muslim communities by these Farooq Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti Governments. In this context BJP also proved just an excuse of government partner.
