JTC, SKF take out protest rally | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Oct, 25: JTC, Soan Kashmir Front J&K continued its hunger strike, protest and took out a rally today in which hundreds of members participated. Rally marched from the sit -in site to the Jagti Police post so that our voice goes to the state and central government and our demands are met. Pandita said (today is the 24th day of protest sit -in while we are asking the government to increase the monthly cash relief of relief holders from Rs13,000 to Rs 25,000 per month per family but the government is treating us like stepmother. The government is oppressing our community and a conspiracy is being hatched to wipe out this Community. Pandita said our agitation, protest, dharna will continue as long as our demands are met. Pandita said that government Jobs should be given to those families where there is no government employee in the family. Provide free ration to those pensioners whose pensions are very low. Raj Kumar Tickoo unit president JTC said that government should address our persistent demands which are as under. 20,000 Jobs should be given for unemployed youth of kps,out of these 20 thousand posts 5,000 class IV should be given to the unemployed youth of these families who could not send their children for higher education after matriculation due to poverty and exilement, provide compensation and free loans to over aged youth. |
