Jammu, Oct 25: Mehar Singh Sudan AAP Leader J&K extended Dussehra greetings and best wishes to all countrymen. This festival symbolizes the victory of truth over religion and falsehood over wrongdoing. He said, I wish that this festival of joy, protects everyone from the effects of the epidemic and bring prosperity among the countrymen.
N P Singh AAP Leader J&K extended his greetings for Dussehra to the people of country. He hoped that Vijaya Dashami, which marks the triumph of good over evil ushers in prosperity for the people. He also said Goddess Durga should bring happiness into the lives of people. Sher Singh AAP Leader J&K ,said that Dussehra symbolises the triumph of good over evil. "The festival is celebrated throughout India in different forms. This festival strengthens the cultural unity of India and inspires us to live in harmony, following the path of virtue and shunning evil. It also inspires us to live by honesty and truthfulness. May the day bring joy and prosperity to the people of the country.

The annual festival is celebrated with great enthusiasm across the world. On Dussehra, effigies of Ravana are burnt with fireworks marking the evil's destruction. It also marks the end of both Durga Puja and the nine-day-long Navratri festival, the day when Goddess Durga killed Mahishasura, the demon king. The people’s leader Said, Dusheera is also celebrated as victory of Goddess Chamundeshwari over the demon form Mahishasura. |
