SKS welcomes land laws | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 30: Sampoorn Kashmir Sanghattan (SKS) has welcomed the recently announced land laws for Jammu and Kashmir but at the same time raised the issue of rehabilitation for Kashmiri Pandits back to their roots. In a statement released by General secretary and national spokesperson of Bharat Kachroo said that GOI should take immediate steps to resettle/rehabilitate all Kashmiri Pandits who have left valley since 1947. Kachroo added that it was utter failure of successive governments both central and state since 1947 till 1990 that from more than 15% of hindu population was reduced to only 2% and ultimatly was radicalised and thrown out of their mother land. Kachroo has stated that GOI should provide facilities for all kps in kashmir to live who have left from 1947 till date. SKS has requested PM &HM to open the strategy of rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits as soon as possible. |
