Selective killings of party young workers going unabated: BJP’s all strategies to spread footprints in Valley received setback
10/30/2020 11:53:27 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Oct 30: All strategies devised by the party, from time to time, to spread its footprints in Kashmir Valley, appeared to be failed after the killing of three party workers on Thursday evening. Terrorists have started selective killings of BJP leaders after Block Development Councils (BDCs), Panchayats and Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) elections in Valley wherein BJP had gained significant ground after PDP and NC had boycotted these elections.
After the killing of party leader Wasim Bari along with his family members on July 8, BJP has arranged safe places for most of the party leaders in Valley. Party leadership was hoping that arranging safe places for party leaders would solve the issue of security but Thursday evening’s gruesome killing has exposed all such claims of the BJP. After the killing of Bari and his family, BJP had announced to re-devise its strategy to spread our foot-print in Kashmir. There was a feeling among party leaders that the anti-national forces were desperate over the growing popularity of BJP in the Valley.
Since its formation, BJP has not only attained majority in some ULBs in Kashmir Valley but the party has also strengthened its network at Panchayat level by enrolling new members.
As good numbers of young people are joining BJP, terrorists were also indulged into selective killing of BJP young workers as part of the deep-rooted conspiracy to intimidate those who dared to join the Saffron Party.
Earlier militants had killed Gowhar Bhat, 30, a young worker of BJP followed by gruesome killing another youth leader of the Shabir Ahmed Bhat on the eve of Eid in the year 2019.
The biggest challenge before BJP leadership is to revive shattered confidence among fear stricken workers of Kashmir Valley, where the party is trying to create its own space.
