| Police organizes Run for Unity | | |

Jammu, Oct 30: On the occasion of “Police Flag Days” and in loving memory of Police Martyrs, District Police Reasi organised the programme under Civic Action Programme 2020 titled “RUN FOR UNITY”.
The programme was held under the overall supervision of Rashmi Wazir JKPS SSP Reasi in which all the citizens of Reasi were invited to participate. During the event, a large number of senior citizens along with the youth as well as girls from Reasi took part.
The programme was organised in three categories senior, junior (Boys) and junior (girls). Starting point for seniors was Govt. High School Ghair Marhi (Reasi) whereas the starting point for juniors was Gran Morh (Reasi).
The race was flagged off by SSP Reasi at 7:00 am. All the participants were given refreshment at the culmination point i.e, Sports Stadium Reasi. All the winners were rewarded with cash rewad, certificate and medallion. The citizens of Reasi while appreciating the initiative of Police for holding various events at the grass root level said that such events not only help in inculcating sports culture among the youth but also pave a way for improving Police Public relations and also contribute in eradicating various drug related menaces from the society.
During the event Surjeet Kumar JKPS Addl. SP Reasi, Satish Bhardwaj-JKPS SDPO Arnas, Inspr. Sumeet Sharma SHO P/S Reasi, others Police officers/officials, Sports Officers, Gautam kundal,Tahir Bilal, Arun Dev Singh, Dinesh, Anoop and Raj kumar, Teachers, Media persons and prominent citizens of Reasi were present. Lateron, SSP Reasi distributed prizes among all the winners. Before presentation ceremony Micheal, Dharanjay and Sandeep showed their breakdance talent to the audience. |
