Jammu, Oct 30: As part of their ongoing agitation, the Jagti Tenameent Committee (JTC) members took out protest demonstration and blocked Jagti road for two hours.
The protesters were raising slogans regarding enhancement of relief, jobs to left out families. The protesters said that they would continue their protest till their demands would be meet by the government. “We are asking the government to increase the monthly cash relief of relief holders from Rs13,000 to Rs 25,000 per month per family but the government is treating us stepmotherly”, Shadi Lal Pandita said. Other leaders who participate in the protest were Kashi Nath Bhat, Inder Ji Labroo, Rakesh Ambardar, SL Kar, Sunil Bhan, Sunil koul, Sager Pandita, Shuban Raina, C L Koul, S Charan Jeet Singh, S Gurmeet Singh, Gowri Shanker, Gokal Nath Bhat, Jitander Raina, Mohan Krishan Tickoo,Vinod Moza, Kamal Ji Pandita, Sanjay Raina, Ajay Kachroo,Bihari Lal Razdan, Ravinder Koul sahib, Kiran Kumar Bhat, Ajay Tickoo, Babloo Ramesh, Kuldeep Raina, Vikey Hakoo, J L Bhat, Kamal Ji Pandita, Javaid Ahmad, Gh Mohmad Khan, Rajinder Koul, Ram Krishan, Shuban Mattoo and others. |
