| Block Diwas events held across Rajouri | | | Early Times Report
RAJOURI, Nov 4: As a part of effective Governance and to improve the quality of public service delivery system, the district administration Rajouri on Wednesday organised Block Diwas at identified locations in the district. The programmes were conducted under the overall supervision of the District Development Commissioner, Mohammad Nazir Sheikh.
Block Diwas events were held at each designated location where the teams of district administration along with the frontline field functionaries delivered varied services to the people and listened to their grievances.
Several issues including inadequate water supply, macadamization and renovation of roads, upgradation of schools, better health services and related issues were projected during the programmes and many of them were resolved on the spot with the intervention of the concerned departments. On the occasion, a number of revenue documents and other Government services were provided to the general public.
The line departments put up stalls at the venue depicting and demonstrating various kinds of services and schemes meant for public welfare. |
