SAMBA, Nov 4: District Development Commissioner, Samba Rohit Khajuria today reviewed the progress/status of construction of new Panchayat Ghars under Rashtriya Gram Sawaraj Abhiyan (RGSA), here at a meeting of concerned officers.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Jitender Mishra, Chief Planning officer, Sukhleen Kour, Assistant Commissioner Development, Sidharath Dhiman, District Panchayat Officer, Piyush Dhotra, besides Tehsildars of district Samba were also present.
Giving detailed presentation regarding present status of Panchayat Ghars, Assistant Commissioner Development said that in 2018-19 fiscal five New Panchayat Ghar were approved out of which DPRs for 3 have been submitted, while in 2019-20 five more PGs were approved out of which DPRs for 4, has been submitted and in current financial year 01 New Panchayat Ghar has been proposed at panchayat Deon.
It was informed that due to non-availability of state land, the DPRs of left Panchyat Ghars could not be submitted.
The ADC said that the construction work on New Panchayat Ghars at Panchayat Sodom, Goran, Birpur Upper, Khara Madana Lower, Badheri Rakh AmbTali and tarore has been sanctioned.
The Deputy Commissioner laid emphasis upon executing all the sanctioned works at the earliest in order to empower the grassroot level institutions. He also directed to identify old abandoned govt. buildings for where state land is not available. |
