Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 7: Meditation is the process of re-discovering, enjoying and using the positive qualities latent within oneself. Like any skill, meditation requires practice to achieve positive and satisfying results. By doing a little everyday it becomes a natural and easy habit, which generously rewards for the little effort it involves. It energises one's awareness bringing both peace and wisdom to a busy mind, heals broken hearts and expands one's capacity to love, dissolves many fears replacing them with lightness and freedom from anxiety, burdens and worries. With this in mind, GDC Vijaypur collaborated with Prajapita Brahma Kumari's Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya Saket, New Delhi and conducted two batches of online Rajyoga Meditation for " Invoking the Divinity Within" in which students, research scholars and faculty members from various Colleges and Universities across the country participated with great zeal, fervor and enthusiasm. Dr. Sangeeta Sudan, Principal of the College thanked the organizers and participants for making the 21 days online programme a grand success. She asserted that practice of Rajyoga Meditation or intellectual communion with God brings into the soul many powers. Of these eight important are : Power to Pack up or winding one's thoughts at will; Power to Tolerate any kind of behavior with grace ; Power to Accommodate all sorts of people and adjust to any situation making one broadminded and patient; Power to Judge one's own thoughts , words, actions and situations accurately and impartially etc. |
