Sikh Community facing discrimination in JK: Tajinder Singh | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 7: Social Activist Sardar Tajinder Singh said that minority Sikh community is facing discrimination in every field of Jammu and Kashmir. While addressing a delegation of Tajinder Singh said that Sikh Community is facing hardships since long as no representation has given to any Sikh in previous governments and non inclusion of a Sikh member from Sikh community in PSC, Singh also expressed resentment over non inclusion of Punjabi in official language of J&K now UT. "The concern was also raised for not extending National Minority Commission (NMC) act in UT of J&K and thereby debarring the members of minority community from all such benefits granted under the NMC act" Tajinder added. Tajinder said Microscopic Sikh Community wards were ignored again by non inclusion to recent notification issued y AICTE for giving special concession to the wards of Kashmiri migrants for admission in higher educational institutions throughout the country. Tajinder Singh appeal to the LG of Jammu and Kashmir for the consideration of bare facts due to which Sikh community feeling discrimination in Jammu and Kashmir. |
