Shiv Sena holds protest against PAGD meeting | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 7: Woman leader of Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackeray Jammu and Kashmir unit was arrested while staging a protest against the meeting of the People Alliance of Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) near the residence of former Chief Minister and NC President Dr Farooq Abdullah. Led by Manish Sahni, President Shiv Sena, J&K unit, dozens of Shiv Sainiks gathered near the residence of Dr Farooq Abdullah at Bathindi and raised against the blatant Alliance for holding a meeting in Jammu with a view to make befool with its old tactics. Jammu and Kashmir Police deployed outside the residence of Farooq Abdullah immediately swung into action and arrested the three Woman leader including Meenakshi Chibber (president Mehila wing). Talking to reporters, Sahni termed this political amalgamation of PAGD as faction of Pakistani puppets which can go to any extent for ensuring petty political gain. Taking a dig at the Jammu and Kashmir administration and BJP leaders, Sahni said that while giving police protection to the country and those making anti-Tricolor statements, their activities are being allowed to continue in Jammu. Sahni said that due to the soft attitude of the Central Government regarding this agenda, it is felt that once again bypassing Jammu, there are conspiracies to cook some Khichdi with Kashmiri leaders behind the scenes. |
