KISHTWAR, Nov 7: A day long training session for 80 Returning Officers (ROs) and Assistant Returning Officers (AROs) was held for forthcoming Panchayat by-elections phase l and ll in the district. Master trainer Faisal Mushtaq Kichloo (Assistant Professor GDC Kishtwar) and Girdhari Lal (lecturer) briefed the participants about their duties and roles besides all the key aspects of the Panchayat by-Elections.
Besides, they advised the participants to go through the Manual hand book minutely to know about the election procedure.
The By-election in the district is going to be held for 23 vacant sarpanch seats and 90 panchs seats.
The training session was supervised by the Nodal officer training Management Anoop Kumar. |
