Global Helping Hand organizes webinar on health awareness | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 16: With the health mission, "Aarogya Ka Abhishek", Global Helping Hand in collaboration with BLK Super Speciality Hospital, New Delhi, Jamwal Group of Institutions, Shri Alakh Sahiba Trust, Abhi Care and Mount Litera Zee School Bohri, Jammu organized a webinar in order to create awareness and address the health related queries in the times of pandemic. The webinar focussed on the life and lifestyle modifications due to Covid-19, covering aspects of healthy heart, mind and body and throwing light on Blood Pressure and Diabetes. The webinar was e- inaugurated by J K Raina (Reshi), President, Global Helping Hand. In his inaugural speech J K Raina gave a brief note on the importance of healthy living and how life without health is analogous to a river without water. He also thanked Dr Dheeraj Gandotra for having spared his precious time for this noble cause. After the President's address, Dr Dheeraj took over the session and interacted with the participants explaining the cause and effect of Covid-19. He stressed on the importance of wearing a mask, social distancing and keeping check of the sanitization. He appealed to all the participants to take extra care due to the approaching winters. He also emphasized the importance of getting tested, if one feels any abnormality regarding health. He asked the younger generation to take extra care of the kids and people above age of 60 and use masks while interacting with them as their immune systems are weak as compared to young people. Muskan Raina, General Secretary of the organisation said that the present lifestyle is full of comforts and asked people to do yoga and morning exercises daily to avoid diseases. Muktesh Yogi, Vice President & Incharge Youth Wing emphasized on the participation of young people in such services so that the diseases can be eradicated from its root cause. Vimarshi Koul, Vice President, Global Helping Hand, stressed that people should not take health related issues for granted and these issues should be brought into the notice of doctors at an early stage so that they could get examined. |
