Jagti Tenement Committee, SKF agitation enters 74th day | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 14: The ongoing agitation of Jagti tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (JTC) for enhancement of cash relief today entered 74th day, which was started on October 2 this year. Addressing the members Shadi Lal Pandita said, "We have been protesting in Jagti township for 74th days but the government is not meeting our demands. We would like to inform the state and centre government that the monthly cash Relief of Kashmiri migrant relief holders is very low however, since 2014." "There has been a lot of inflation due to which the expenses of the migrants are not being met , so that the monthly cash relief of relief holders should be increased from Rs 13,000 to Rs 25,000 for per family per month immediately", he added. Pandita said KPs educated, unemployed youth are worried and their lives have become difficult. "We demand that a Job be given to those houses /families in which no family member has got a job till date therefore, a new Pakage of 20,000 posts should be announced for such unemployed youths", he added. |
