Attack on PDP leader: Mehbooba avoids attacking terrorists for killing PSO of party leader | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 14: Frustrated over peoples’ overwhelming participation in the on-going District Development Councils (DDCs) elections, Pakistan sponsored terrorists in J&K have started attacking politicians. On Monday, a group of these terrorists attacked senior leader of PDP, Haji Parvez Ahmed. While fighting with terrorists, PSO of PDP leader attained martyrdom to protect Haji Parvez. President of the PDP and former chief minister, Mehbooba Mufti condemned the attack on her party leader but she could not muster the guts to speak even a single word against terrorists and their masters sitting across the border for masterminding this gruesome attack. Instead of speaking against terrorists, the PDP president shifted all blames on the government for giving inadequate security to opposition leaders. “Strongly condemn the attack on PDPs Haji Parvez. J&K admin has left opposition leaders in a vulnerable position by downgrading their security. Lapses are likely to occur since protection given is inadequate. My heartfelt condolences to Manzoor Ahmed’s family”, she tweeted on her twitter handle. “Vehemently condemn the murderous assault on party leader Haji Parvez Ahmed. Such attacks are an attempt to instill a sense of fear and dissuade parties from advocating the aspirations of people”, official twitter handle of PDP tweeted. In this tweet not even a single word has been mentioned against terrorists. Terrorists on Monday morning fired upon the personal security guard of a PDP leader in Natipora area of Central Kashmir's Srinagar district. Reports said terrorists fired upon the PSO of PDP leader Haji Parvaiz Ahmad in Natipora, leaving him injured. He has been identified as Constable Manzoor Ahmad and has been shifted to SMHS hospital for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries. |
