| Samba Police works out burglary case within 24 hours | | | Early Times Report
SAMBA, Dec 14: Samba Police has worked out a burglary case within 24 hours of registration of case at Police Station Samba, arrested thief and recovered stolen golden jewellery items worth rupees about 1 lakh.
On December 11, a written complaint was lodged at PS Samba by person namely Subash Chander S/o Jagga Ram R/o Arazi Samba stating therein that some unknown burglars striked in his house and decamped with golden jewellery items and some cash.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR No. 336/2020 U/S 457 & 380 IPC was registered at PS Samba and investigation was started.
A Police team of PS Samba conducted raids in various suspicious areas and questioned number of suspects. During the course of investigation, suspect namely Mukesh Kumar S/O Girdhari Lal R/o Arazi Samba confessed his involvement in commissioning of said burglary.
On the disclosure of the said apprehended accused, Police Party recovered stolen golden jewellery items approximately 23 grams worth Rs about 1 lakh from his possession. Further investigation is going on. |
