2436 ration cards deactivated in Doda due to non seeding of Aadhaar | | | ASIF IQBAL NAIK Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 14: Due to non seeding of Aadhaar, the government of Jammu and Kashmir in Doda District has deactivated 2436 Ration Cards as a result of which these ration card holders fail to receive ration supply from government run ration depots. As per the details available with Early Times, after massive hue and cry over the deactivation of such huge number of ration cards, the department of Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs had issued a notice intimating all such ration card holders to get their ration cards AADHAAR seeded to get hassle free ration supply in future. "Recently Government has deactivated 2436 Ration Cards of District Doda in which Aadhaarn umbers were not seeded. Now all the beneficiaries under NFSA (PHH/AAY) of District Doda are hereby again informed through the medium of this notice that they should submit/get their Aadhaar numbers seeded with their Ration Cards as soon as possible " read the notice issued by Shohab Latief, Assistant Director Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Doda wide No. 2953/FCS&CA/D/2020-21 Dated 12-12-2020. The notice further stated that the beneficiaries, whose Aadhaar numbers are not seeded with their ration cards shall not be getting any of the benefits being provided by the government w.e.f January 2021. |
