Congress will emerge as largest party in DDC election: Satish Sharma | | | EArly times Report
Jammu, Dec 14: Former Municipal Corporation Jammu chairman and senior Congress leader Satish Sharma while campaigning for DDC candidate stated that the Congress has overtaken all the parties and the kind of atmosphere that is prevailing at this time, it will be clearly visible on 22 December when the results comes out, the Congress will emerge as the largest party in these DDC elections. Satish Sharma said this while addressing a public meeting for Congress candidate Suram Singh in Khour block of Tehsil Akhnoor. Satish said that there has been no development in Jammu and Kashmir during the last 6 years of BJP's rule, BJP only made false promises to the people and enjoyed power. Satish said that all the development work that has been done in Khor assembly today is due to former Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand. He further stated that today, all the major projects in the Khour assembly are due to the Congress and is why Tara Chand has expressed confidence in Suram Singh for the DDC election. He urged the people for voting the congress candidate Suram Singh on the day of voting. Several Panch sarpanches of the area were also present with him on this occasion.
