JAMMU, Dec 14: Directorate of Health Services (DHS) Jammu has ordered an inquiry against two doctors after it received a complaint that they are violating Model Code of Conduct by openly participating in election campaigning in favour of an independent candidate. The two doctors against whom an inquiry has been initiated have been identified as Dr Jahan Ara Ganai, Consultant Gynecologist, District Hospital Udhampur detailed on duty at CHC Bishnah and Dr Shaista Ganai, Medical Officer, undergoing Sr. Residency at PGIMER, Chandigarh. In an order issued here today, Director Health Services Jammu has directed the Chief Medical Officer, Jammu/Poonch to conduct an inquiry into the allegations of MCC violation against the two doctors and submit the inquiry report within two days positively.
