Farmers are backbone of Indian economy
12/14/2020 11:37:30 PM
RAKESH AATHUR

Indian system of economy is of mixed type in which macro & micro economics plays a major role in lieu of agricultural sector, a biggest sector paves to the final GDP ratio of the country. All three sectors comprising primary, secondary and tertiary sectors of the Indian economy are the outcome of the agricultural sector upon which the all others are dependants.
Agricultural production in the country to which, one cannot deny for its contribution by the farmers in the Gross Domestic Product as 70%.
Though it is concluded in the primary sector of the economic sector, but its role is so great to the final outcome of the country in every way to the international market. But the loopholes in the agricultural system by the ruling government are clearly pointing to a common man that the future of the farmers in the country is not so futuristic, to which thousands of farmers are resenting on the roads among this callous winter.
Farmers are backbone of our Indian economy who earns at about 70% GDP rate in the foreign export( FOREX) and its contribution in the Indian economy is the far greater than the other allied sectors called secondary and tertiary sectors. So no one including government at centre or state can neglect their contribution, even a special economic planning was based on it called 3rd plan in order to enhance the GDP of the country. During which it was surveyed that agricultural produce is the mother of inventions among the country and if there is impetus in the agricultural production our country may reduce the poverty to a great variant too.
In addition we can presume from a former prime Minister who is known as Lal Bahadur Shastry who once proclaimed to that Indian economic set up with a slogan “Jai Jawan & Jai Kisan” who was in belief that if our farmers and Jawans are greeted our country may not remain beyond any other country of the world in any race, so he stressed upon both of these factor but fully purports upon the farmers for their significant contribution to the GDP of country.
Perhaps it was the reason behind his last hope declaration to which he professed to spread his cremation ash into the agricultural fields of the farmers in order to attain him final salvation from death and rebirth cycle. He assigned the farmers the superiority of God whom serves to the local people through their painstaking by producing the all weather crops and offering them at their doorsteps.
But here we are watching a very different system in the present government at centre which totally neglecting the farmers in respect of the production and their interests.
After 60 years of agricultural revolutions comprising green revolution, yellow revolution, white revolution, etc in the Indian economy the trend in the Indian agriculture have also revealed to a greater extent, one may not guess it without perusing its factors keenly.
Though production in the country due to its agricultural revolutions has increased to a greater extent but there is consistently a major need to garner the interests of the all Kisans throughout the country. And Kisan Sabhas i.e. All India Sangarsh Coordination Committee(AIKSCC) etc had been also formed for its time to time needs and formal check-up for the interests of the Kisans also. In lieu of it government have started number of schemes and policies so that the Kisan may not face any kind of risk for their agricultural production system.
But with legislation of new farming laws in the country the government axed on its feet vehemently without caring the interests of a common kisans. That dalal/ brokers from the kisan and their production have ceased to which they are resenting vehemently. Perhaps the system of agricultural production and other Mandis prevailing in the country was consigned by the farmers and Ardtis and it was so favorable to the both of these agencies. By eliminating the Ardtis/ inter mediators with the help of which Kisan can sell their agricultural crops in the markets and Mandis was Kisan friendly.
When government had intervened among both of these agencies the GDP of the country facing a sharp shrink due to which the agricultural produce of the kisans did not rightly evaluated and most of them had remained in the fields for the months and rate of the produce(MSP) has fallen in the markets largely to which a common Kisan cannot severe and now they erected against this policy of the government by protesting in a mass scale in the streets of Delhi, by attempting to gherao the central civil sectariate.
Severing chilly winter men, women including many of them with their kids had assembled at Singhu, Tikri and Gazipur to take part in the protest against this new farming laws in which more than 25 political parties are supporting them vehemently. Whereas Shiromani Akali Dal party has directly blamed the BJP to neglecting the interests of the farmers, by not hearing their grievance in serious manners
In order to resent their demands of repealing the farming laws they are retaliating peacefully since half a month during this callous winter which has turned this protest on a mass scale throughout the country with call of Bharat Bandh on 8 December in which large scale jam of the vehicles have been reacted throughout the country and many rounds of the talks have been attended during which nothing any finalized yet!
Mean to say that farmers are second to God contexts as Ann-Datta who feed the large number of population of the country by their agricultural production. To which none could deny that they are real hard workers who works for the rural and urban people of the country and meet the calorie intake of every person including birds, worms. In other words we can say that they feed to all the living organisms on the earth.
