Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 16: The workers of Dogra Front and Shiv Sena today took out a massive protest rally in favour of farmers demanding right price for the crops of farmers. President Ashok Gupta stated that where so ever the farmers are facing problems these should be resolved and the farmers should also consider that the consensus cannot be reached with 46 people so a group of 5 farmer leaders should meet the PM and Rajnath Singh so that the mutually problem can be resolved. "Since Independence, for decades slogans were raised and manifestos written in the name of farmers and labourers but time has proved that these were all empty promises. People who have always lied to the farmers are now engaged in spreading falsehoods among them for their selfish political gains", Gupta said and demanded implementation of the Swaminathan formula of one and a half times the input cost for deciding the Minimum Support Price, making Kisan Credit Cards accessible to all farmers as well as to fishermen and those engaged in animal husbandry. The party people who were present at the time of protest were Bantu, Ashish, Manu, Naresh, Prem, Dhanni Ram, Kalu, Abhishek and various others were present. |
