Jammu, Dec 16: Government Degree College (GDC) Akhnoor organized an online quiz competition on Introduction to Economics under the patronship of Worthy Principal Dr Namarta to provide a self evaluating platform for the students to check the basic ability in economics, as well as to raise the confidence level of the students. The competition was intended to enhance the skill of understanding the application of concepts, which is required in a broader context when students appear for competitive exams. The quiz comprised of 25 Objective Type Questions of Two mark each.
About 100 students participated with full enthusiasm in the quiz and out of them 80 were qualifier. (securing more than 40 marks). The quiz competition was conducted by Parul Gupta, HOD Economics with the help of faculty members, Dr. Priyanka Ganjoo and Sandeep Kumar.
