| BSS distributes woollen clothes among poor, needy persons | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 16: Bharat Sevashram Sangha's (BSS) Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory branch whose motto is the 'Service towards Humanity', following the ideology of its great founder Acharya Srimat Swami Pranavanandaji Maharaj, founder of Bharat Sevashram Sangha.
Like every year, in J&K, also distribution of woolen clothes (Jackets) served among the poor and needy persons at Peer Kho, here on Wednesday.
Swami Satyamitranandaji Maharaj, Incharge BSS aJK UT and Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation, Chander Mohan Gupta distributed woolen clothes among the needy persons where Corporator Narotam Sharma and other prominent citizens were also present.
Appreciating the Sangha's commitment towards the service of humanity, Chander Mohan Gupta congratulated the BSS for its selfless activities.
He noted that the activities of such organizations highlight and reinvigorate our ethical traditions and serve as a guiding force for the betterment of humanity.
He also lauded the efforts of BSS for their social welfare programmes and appealed to the Sangha to continue its humanitarian services for the disadvantaged sections of the society.
Swami Satyamitranandaji Maharaj, Incharge BSS JK UT also highlighted activities of the organization in his address.
He said BSS distributed warm clothes among the poor and needy people for the last many years. |
