Jammu, Dec 21: Royal Woman's Cricket Tournament Season-2 was inaugurated by the Royal Women's Cricket Club at a grand function at Jammu Women's College Gandhinagar on Monday, promoting women's cricket. The competition was inaugurated by Dr. Sangeeta Nagri, Principal of Gandhinagar College. Let us know that 3 women teams have participated in this competition, which includes Super Strikers, Pink Panthers and Royal Mega Star. The tournament is organising under the supervision of club president Veena Sharma, treasurer Anita Gupta, Shambhu Nath Sharma and Dr. Rupali Salathia. Satika Sharma, Meenu Salathia, Surekha Singh, Ankita Jalla, Naina Kashyap and Ashima Pathania are playing the official roles in the competition. Today's inaugural match was played between Royal Mega Star and Super Strikers which was a thrilling contest with Royal Mega Star winning the match by 6 runs to qualify for the next round. In today's match the Royal Mega Star won the toss and gave the Super Strikers team a chance to bat first. Batting first the Super Strikers set a target of 104 runs for their opponent team. Lalita scoring 19 Runs, Alia's innings of 16 runs. from bowling side Royal Mega Star player sandhya took two wickets, Abriq took 1 and Deepakkshi took 2 wickets. Royal Mega Star chased the target and won the match. Rudrakshi played a fine innings of 47 runs for the team. Bushra added 10 runs for the team. |
