Online screening session for youth parliament held | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 29: Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India conducted a online session in NYKS office premises for screening of youth parliament, district level in which candidates from five districts Jammu, Kathua, Samba, Rajouri & Poonch participated. On this occasion, Nissar Ahmed, youth co ordinate officer NYKS Jammu initiated the program with necessary guidelines to participants. Bikram Singh Gill, director NYKS, JK-UT spoke on the subject before start up the on-line session and hand over online devices to technical staff. Before this a team comprised of five jury members who were put in place to give judgment sought some queries from director and they judged all speeches of each candidates who spoke one by one on different topics . There were four topics before the candidates to air the views. Around 50 participants were listened and viewed on screen and were judged minutely. As per sources NYKS will select 44 candidates out of 22 districts of J&K UT including Ladakh UT, thereafter, state level debate competition will be held shortly followed by national level selection. The youths having age 18 to 29 whosoever is interested can take part in further debate by visiting on NYKS site. However, 2G service remained problematic for smoothly receiving of material. |
