| Chain hunger strike of Dharmarth Trust enters 2nd day | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 29: On 29th day of continues protest, the employees of Dharmarth Trust on second day started chain hunger strike to pressurize the administration to redress their demand of constitution of Board for all the temples under Dharmarth Trust on the pattern of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board.
Hundreds of employees including priests from various units of the trust such as Shri Raghunath Mandir, Hari Bhawan Purmandal, Uttar Behani, Birpur and Central Office Karan Bhawan Sudh Maha Dev also participated in the protest. They said they have assembled here to demand the merger of all Dharmarth Trust temples with SMVDSB for their proper development. Talking to reporters, and address to gathering by State Gen Secretary Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh and Senior Leader Harbans Choudhary The employees Association further threaten the State Govt. to intervene in the matter otherwise employees association expedite the agitation. They alleged that Secretary Dharmarth Trust suspended five employees of the trust on the plea that these employees participated in undesirable activities and used unparliamentarily language against Chairman Trustee and trust management and malign the reputation of the trust which is incorrect, baseless, manipulated and denied by the employees vide written reply submitted on November 12, 2020. "We shall continue our agitation till our demands will be met by the Trust members," protesting employees asserted. |
