| One arrested with heroin | | |

Jammu, Jan 14: Nowabad Police today recovered today arrested a drug peddler along with heroin. Nowabad Police led by SHO Deepak Jasrotia during patrolling duty rounded up a suspect namely Harmeet Singh alias Vicky coming from workshop side near Fortune hotel towards fish market Chand Nagar. On search, 25 gms of heroin was recovered from his illegal possession. A case FIR No. 08/21 U/S 08/21/22/25 NDPS Act got registered at P/S Nowabad and the accused was arrested. Further investigation of the case is going on. Jammu Police is striving hard and taking every possible step to make people especially youth aware to eradicate drug menace. |
